(More customer reviews)I have four of these, two are several years old. They work exactly the way you would expect. The paper filter traps most tap water chemicals so it is easy to clean. I change the filter once a season.
On low, the fan is quiet and unobtrusive. If you just run it at night, and on low, the water reservoir lasts two nights. I could not find it cheaper locally and it came in two days from Amazon.
