(More customer reviews)It's OK in manual mode, but the so-called automatic mode where it's supposed to sense the humidity and cycle on or off accordingly is a joke. First of all, it didn't even go on in auto-mode until I had it cranked up to 55% desired humidity, and the room is as dry as a bone. Then after going on, it would turn off after about two minutes, turn on for literally a second, and so on. Hardly an effective way to humidify a room. Since we desired something we could "set and forget" for the baby's room, this doesn't work accordingly, and will be returned immediately.
Also, although it is fairly simple for someone of average intelligence to figure out, there is nothing in the manual about how to fill the tank! An obvious oversight on their part, and just another indicator of the sloppy design/manufacture of this product. The only reason I can give it two stars instead of one is because the manual mode works OK.
