(More customer reviews)Fits Aprilaire humidifier models 112 and 224. You'll need to order this and an Aprilaire 4004 In-Line Strainer when you replace the solenoid valve. The strainer goes in the long end, and the orifice in the short end.

These are the tiny nylon components which accurately meter the flow of water into your humidifier. They allow a specific amount of water to go into the humidifier, some of which is evaporated and some which performs the important flushing action.
