(More customer reviews)Very dependable and accurate readings, batteries last a good length of time. My only issue is with the "connection" to the base unit. The base unit requires batteries (no option for plugging it in) and when the base unit batteries need replacing then all remote sensors need resetting as well - very time consuming.

For use with any La Crosse 915 MHz Instant Transmission wireless weather systems, the weather-resistant sensor communicates to the base every 4 seconds from a distance of up to 330 feet unobstructed. Outdoor temperature measurement capabilities range from -39.9 to +139.8 degrees F, while humidity levels assessed range from 1 to 99 percent. The sensor\'s small LCD screen alternates between displaying the current temperature and current humidity data. To ensure the most accurate readings, install the sensor out of direct rain and sunlight; the sensor can conveniently be mounted upright or on a wall. The sensor requires the separate purchase of two AA batteries to operate. A limited one-year warranty covers this item.
