(More customer reviews)Read some were having problems opening similar humidors. Just recieved this humidor and also couldn't get it opened. Quickly figured out there was probably a suction keeping it locked down tight. Put it out in the sun for a little while and the lid popped open on its own.
It hasn't been tried yet because it is for someone deployed in the military. It was larger then thought it would be but seems to be well constructed.
