(More customer reviews)I hoped this product would lower the humidity in my gun safe but was disappointed. My room dehumidifier had died and hope this mini dehumidifier would protect my guns. I placed it in my gun safe along with a humidity meter. Left it in there a couple of days and checked it. The meter on the outside of my safe read 67%, then read the meter in the safe 63%. Wow dropped 4%, closed the safe and let it go for a week and the meter read 65%. Even thought the window was purple indicating the humidifier was charged I plugged it in to recharge and once again would only drop humidity 2-4%. What a waste of money. If you bought this product get a humidity meter and check the humidity inside and outside your gun safe. My safe is an average sized safe.
