Honeywell H32045 Dirt Devil Style 4/5 Replacement Belts Review

(More customer reviews)I bought a package of these at a hardware store (it was the only brand they carried). The first belt only lasted a few *vacuumings*. The next time I started the vacuum, I smelled the burnt belt scent. It was melting and stretching and then broke. I have put on the second belt and am hopeful, but it doesn't look it will last too long either. To compare, the original belt that came with the vacuum lasted over ten years of occasional vacuum use. I am going to try another brand next time.

Boston Floor-Upright Space Heater, White (25986) Review

(More customer reviews)I've rated it a 3 because I'd prefer a unit that provided greater air circulation. For many years I've used a Sears Model 344-362200 that has the same watts/volts/amp ratings and is approx the same size. However, the old Sears provides an air circulation at least 3 times greater than this one. The Sears takes in air from the back and blows it directly out the front. The 25986 retrieves the air from its sides and blows it out the front. Perhaps it is the redirection of air that results in its lower air circulation.
Its nice to have a unit that supplies a bit of extra heat when needed, but I primarily use units such as this to circulate the air for a cooling effect. I don't have ceiling fans and with this summer being hot and humid, decided to get another unit to increase the effectiveness of the a/c. This unit does have a fan only option, but it doesn't have a "two speed fan setting" as advertised. It provides heat settings for high and low, and only one fan setting for air only (without heat). For operating, there are 2 dials ~ one having 4 positions of off/fan/low heat/high heat ~ and the 2nd dial is turned for variable heat settings. The temperature dial needs to be turned from its off position for the unit to operate ~ i.e. both dials need to be turned from their off position for the unit to operate. I thought it confusing that in order to operate on fan only, the temperature dial had to be set. The unit is no more or less noisy than my old Sears ~ making a smooth humming sound similar to my bathrooms' exhaust fans.
The heating appears to be strong, but I've not as yet used it for heating.

(More customer reviews)I was not really happy with these humidifiers. I think they are rated too high. As in the small one is rated for humidors up to 30 cigars and the one rated for up to 100 cigars had trouble keeping humidity to 65% +(maybe 1/2 that amount?). and they seem to not work very well with the recommended distilled water. They seemed to do OK with 50/50 mix of glycol, but at the price seemed to defeat the purpose for buying these in the first place! You be better off sticking with the old style foam humidifiers, or step up and get an electric one. Which is what I did with my large humidor.

I find that it ices up if its colder than about 40 degrees. the cold side heat sink seams to get plenty of water droplets on it though it is painfully small, a few drops an hour at 60F 80#RH. As far as i can tell it works exactly as it should but its kind of like carving a turkey with a pocket knife. seams to work great for a small enclosed space with very little incoming moisture like a closet, but not a bathroom that is showered in. shipping was super fast and free. power supply "brick" gets warm but not hot.
UPDATE: this unit has been running in my bathroom continuously from December to March, no issues. it has filled to its limit 6 times in that time.

Compatible with over 50 Oregon Scientific products, this thermo-hygro sensor transmits temperature and humidity readings back to a main display unit, available separately. This doesn't even say that it's 99.99% filtered like manufacturer Dirt Devil. Why bother with this when you can just spend a few more $ to get something far more quality? And this one is made in china so you know, this product is a piece of junk. What a mistake!!!

(More customer reviews)This product is supposed to fit a capture vacuum. It needs to fit snuggly into the chamber to keep the next filter and the sides of the filter chamber from getting dirty. If it was a smidgen bigger all around it would fit nicely, but alas it is not cut to fit perfectly so it does not do a good job of filtration. Next the filter material is not of the same density as the original product that came with my vacuum. I am very dissapointed with these filters. I purchased two packages so I got 4 filters so that I could change the filter after each vacuum so that I can keep all of my other filters clean and new. These do such a poor job that dirt gets down to the next filter and on to the hepa filter. If this filter is kept clean it keeps your suction optimal. These need to go back to the drawing board.
