(More customer reviews)The filters fit perfectly. They are slightly different than the original, in that they have an aluminum mesh on one side. I assume this is to help the filter keep it's shape, and is thus a good idea. Shipped pretty fast. I'm not sure what else to say. They're filters.

(More customer reviews)I was expecting the packaging to be branded Holmes but it wasn't. Compared to what I consider the original version of the filter, what we got wasn't of like quality. I would say it was lower quality. We're also going through them quicker than the originals. Just over a week for each filter and that's after running it 12-15 hours per day.
We couldn't find these filters anywhere else, Target, BBB, RiteAid, Walgreen's, none of them had it. I guess Holmes or whomever doesn't manufacture them anymore.

(More customer reviews)The filters work fine but once the humidifier itself gets dirty/dusty, it is almost impossible to clean perfectly and therefore the filter indicator always considers that the filter needs to be changed even though it is new.

Small Humidifier- HM1761TG-U Review

(More customer reviews)We have owned this unit for approximately 3-4 months and have had to change the filter four times now. At about $10 per filter, the cost of ownership is just not worth it. After about a month of use, the filters begin to smell musty or moldy, requiring us to change them (or fill the room with musty smelling moisture).
As humidifiers go, the unit is a bit loud, although as another reviewer said, the 'white noise' type of sound doesn't bother our sleep.
We're definitely searching for a new humidifier - this one is becoming to expensive to continue using.
