(More customer reviews)I was reluctant to purchase the Honeywell filter for my Dirt Devil because of the review stating it was shipped in white paper. I ordered two, both came in the standard Honeywell packaging pictured, so I was very glad about that. These filters used to be sold by Walmart for about $20. The filters are much better quality than the ones Walmart is selling now (Arm & Hammer) for the same $20. These Honeywell filters are the closest ones I have found to the originals and they are good for one year as opposed to six months for Arm & Hammer filters. And this is the cheapest price I have found for a good quality filter.

(More customer reviews)Had it for 4 week now and can only get my humidor up to 56%. I recondition my 200 cigar humidor before I installed it, I have around 75 cigars in it. I did better with the Humi-care gel crystals, with them I had 66%. Would not recommend it, unless you have some money you just want to get rid of.

Sunpentown SD-350TI Mini Dehumidifier with UV Light and TiO2 Review

(More customer reviews)I bought two mini dehumidifier at once, this one and the Eva-dry EDV-1100 Electric Petite Dehumidifier. Hands down, the Eva-dry out performs this! They are about 7' apart, but yet the Eva dry can pull out about 8oz of water every 3 days, compared to the 2 tblsp or so this device does.
However, this device is much quieter than the Eva-dry.
As for the UV light, is it really necessary? Better yet...does it really even work? I wouldnt know....

These have helped my mom a great deal at her place, though she did have to return one unit that developed oily spots inside, then became noisy.

Boston Convection Space Heater with Fan, White (25964) Review

(More customer reviews)I have one of these under my desk at work, since the building is inexplicably chilled to like 66 degrees year round.
It's a nice, safe little heater. There's a contact switch on the bottom that automatically shuts it off if it tips over (I've kicked it on accident numerous times). It also seems to auto-shutoff if it thinks it's overheating, which it has done when I've placed something too close in front of it.
There's two knobs on the top: one controls fan/heat (off, fan only, low heat, high heat), the other is a thermostat (though I just leave mine on flat out high the whole day).
Seems like kind of a cheap, no frills electric heater, but it does the job and is holding together well in the rigors of hiding under my desk. At 1500 watts, it produces a pretty nice amount of warm air that does a good job of fighting back the winter's chill of whoever it is that controls the building's thermostat. No glowing red elements, even on high heat, so it seems pretty safe, too.

Erm. Well. Actually after not really a whole lot of use the thing went POP! and now it's just a fan. Meanwhile, the space heaters I use at home (a Delonghi and a Lasko) are working fine. Had the Delonghi for a few years now.

Hunter 83003 Aventine Bathroom Fan with Light and Nightlight, Aged Bronze Review

(More customer reviews)I really do like this bathroom fan/light. It's pretty quiet compared to our old fan. We installed it where the fan comes on when the light is on. This way with existing wiring, we can use the night light, which I felt was too bright for a night light with a 25w bulb, so we added a dimmer for that, which works great. It was easy to install by dropping it through the ceiling, through the attic. It has brackets that can be extended to a further board. If we used this in a downstairs bathroom, a larger hole would have to be cut and blocks of wood put in to mount to, then a re-patch job. Though this uses two 60 watt bulbs, don't expect a super bright room, because the tinted glass dome reduces some of the light. This was ok for us, because we have additional lights in the bathroom. We do not have it directly over our shower, but I can visually see the steam going towards the fan, where I didn't with our older fan. Looking at the light/ fan at first, you wonder how it would suck it up, but it does have power, yet a quiet whisper sound. Sometimes though, it's nice to have other noise in the bathroom when you do not want to 'hear' stuff. Guess a stereo could be added lol.
