(More customer reviews)I ordered this miniature humidifier to keep on my desktop at work. I figured it was just a novelty item but was very suprised to find that it is a real, working, quality humidifier. It has an extra cylinder and five extra little wicks. You need to use filtered water if you want the cylinder to last a year or more. I use distilled water. You CAN'T ADD OIL OR SCENT TO THE WATER OR YOU'LL RUIN IT. It gives off cool mist, continuously, and for about two hours before it needs refilling. If you don't refill it, it automatically shuts itself off. It is totally silent. About as big as a VERY large coffee mug. It plugs into the wall and the cord is pretty long. I'm buying another one!
