I've been able to bypass distilled water since I got this. I do periodically use filtered water anyway (mostly when I just cleaned). As labeled, I use this in a evaporative air washer.

The use of this treatment has cut down the need to clean the filter with vinegar as often and extended the life of the filter.

(More customer reviews)Now for the second year, I use this product exclusively. From October through March, my humidifer gets a workout, being used at least every night in the bedroom. This product keeps the humidifer clean, smelling good, and appears to exdend the filter wick life. I have had no sinus infections for the second year in a row - and used to have them on a regular basis. Of course, I have nothing scientific to prove its the ant-bacteria treatment, but that's the only thing different I am doing as far as air quality treatment in the bedroom.

This product seems to be doing a very good job. I have noticed an improvement in the wicks that draw up the water: no signs of bacterial aging. While I am not a biologist, nor have run any scientific tests, it seems to work with no side effects.
The supplier promptly shipped the water treatment as described. There was no communications, as none was necesary. The purchase just went through as it should, with no hitches.
I will buy this product again.
