It may fit, haven't tried it yet, but I'm disgusted that they imply this is a Bemis product and it is not. Won't buy from them again.

Venta Water treatment Additive 6001305 Review

(More customer reviews)This additive is an absolute necessity when operating the Venta Airwashwer. Whenever you replace the water of the Airwasher completely (every 10-14 days according to the manual) and rinse it out, you will need to add a portion of this additive. The bottle lasts for about 12 such cycles.
I have actually found that I need to replace the water every 10 days to avoid the buildup of "gunk" in the water. I have lived in an area where the water had a much higher mineral content compared to where I live now and found myself doing a complete rinse-out of the Airwasher and replacement of the water and the treastment additive every week, just because the build-up of mineral deposits was so high.

Just one ounce per two gallons of water keeps mineral deposits from forming on the water tanks and wicks. Two gallons of Golden Solution last one winter in my apartment. The wicks last two months instead of one, due to the use of the Golden Solution.

This product keeps the humidifer clean, smelling good, and appears to exdend the filter wick life. I have had no sinus infections for the second year in a row - and used to have them on a regular basis. Of course, I have nothing scientific to prove its the ant-bacteria treatment, but that's the only thing different I am doing as far as air quality treatment in the bedroom.

(More customer reviews)They do seem to help with collection of minerals from the water you use. But, you still have to pay attention to the scale build up on the heating element. Do not let it build up, as it is really hard to remove it. Use white vinegar as least once a week to clean or soak the heating surface.
I also found that as it comes with two pads together; that was blocking the water from flowing into the heating area, so I just separated them and use one pad at a time.
